Previous work experience
Most of my past experiences have been through contracting work inside and outside of my extracurriculars at companies ranging from YC-backed startups, nonprofits, and some companies in the tech industry.

Proudest design project
In my sophomore year, I was a Design Project Manager for a contract project with TextQL, a startup working in self-serve data analytics for businesses. It was one of the best work experiences I’ve had. I learned how to handle product pivots, and learn how to lead a team all while under a lot of time constraints. This project ultimately grew my interest in designing for AI, and being involved in a product behind just design.
Advice
Explore everything you can, inside and outside of product design. Over my time at Cornell so far, I’ve tried full-stack development, mechanical design + engineering, graphic design, service design, product management, marketing, and more—not only will it help you explore different adjacent fields, but also help you learn, build intuition, and collaborate cross-functionally as a product designer. Even if it doesn’t feel relevant to your career, as long as you are intentional about your work and your impact, you’ll grow from every experience (and it’ll pay off)!
Design inspiration
Some cool designs to for your dopamine hit!
That’s all for this week!
